I began my journey helping seniors and their families about 35 years ago. It started when I gave my first talk at a senior community to a group of seniors and their families. My talk encompassed the emotional aspects of making a move from their long-time as touching on the overwhelming emotions experienced prior to making their decision to stay or move from their homes. The audience was so very thankful for the information I provided, and let me know that I gave them the strength and courage to make their move which they wished to make.

Since that day, I have been so fortunate to talk to thousands of older adults and their families. I have seen visible results from my talks, as so many folks have let me know that I touched them in a way they had previously felt ignored. How often do our friends and families ask us the question, “how are you feeling about the possibility of leaving the home you have loved for so many years?” Most I speak with let me know that their families are ready to help, but that the seniors moving don’t want to burden their families with their emotions, as kids already have enough on their plates. The word “overwhelmed” comes up so often when meeting with families at their homes.

I am so proud of the team I have put together. All of us put our clients first! We care about each and every senior and children of seniors we are privileged to help. We guide them on their journey to traversing the challenges when preparing, selling, and moving to their new senior community, apartment, or condo.
